Injury, injury & more injuries 🥲

Nathan Cleary
Premiers Penrith have been rocked by an injury to star co-captain Nathan Cleary with the Panthers halfback expected to miss up to 4 weeks of football with another hamstring issue.

Mitch Moses
Moses suffered a fracture to his left foot during the Eels' 28-24 win at CommBank Stadium with the club confirming on Monday that the playmaker will miss up to 8 weeks.

Payne Haas
Broncos prop Payne Haas will undergo knee surgery next week. Broncos Head Of Performance Dave Ballard said: “Payne met with a specialist today and it was decided the best course of action was for him to have an arthroscopy next week. Expected to be out for up to 6 weeks.

Tino Fa'asuamaleaui
The Titans have been dealt a devastating blow with confirmation captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has suffered a ruptured ACL which will end his 2024 campaign.

Reece Walsh
Facial fracture putting him out for 4-6 weeks. Looking like a 90’s rapper with a fake cheek band aid. Peter V’Landys is punching the air right now with all the current injuries of the above super stars of the game.

A couple of expected results last week but some surprising outcomes at the same token. With many of the Broncos starters being out/ injured early, the Panthers win was to be expected but not many people saw the blowout coming. As per last weeks podcast discussion, the Rabbitohs are back in some sort of internal shit show, getting pumped by the Roosters 48 - 6 really showed how bad things are. My tragic Doggies finally turned up and played some decent footy and most surprisingly didn’t let any points in which was relieving/ exciting to see even if it was only against the Titans — Let’s see if we can back it up this week against the Bunnies. I was riding a $50 singles bet on the Cowboys to beat the Dragons by more than 9.5 points paying $2.23 which was a nervous start as the red V come out of the blocks strong. But low and behold, they turned to water in which the Cows drank all the way to the finish line. Game finished at 46 - 24. Thanks for coming.

NRL games to watch this week 🏉

  • Roosters v Panthers (with no Nathan Cleary)

  • Cowboys v Broncos

  • Warriors v Knights
